LESSO Earns Prestigious IEC 61215:2021 and IEC 61730:2023 Certifications from TÜV Rheinland

On February 23rd, LESSOobtained IEC 61215:2021 and IEC 61730:2023 certificates issued by TÜV Rheinland Greater China (hereinafter referred to as TÜV Rheinland), an international independent third-party testing, inspection, and certification organization, and its quality has been recognized internationally again.

TÜV Rheinland certification is considered one of the most authoritative assessment standards in the PV industry. The successful passing of this certification means that LESSO module products have once again been recognized by the authority, and continue to maintain the leading level in the global PV industry in terms of technological innovation, quality and safety, and reliability.

The certification ceremony was held on the morning of the 23rd at the headquarters of LESSO Group.

Mr. Li Weichun, Vice President of TÜV Rheinland's Global Power Electronics Service and General Manager of TÜV Rheinland's Greater China Solar and Commercial Products Service, Mr. Ni Xin, Business Development Manager, Mr. Xu Haigang, Sales Manager, and Mr. Hu Xiaoyan, Technical Manager; Mr. Zhang Zhichao, Vice President of Guangdong LESSO Banhao Group, Mr. Yuan Wenshing, Director of the Marketing Department, Mr. Fu Xiao, Post-doctoral Fellow of the Research and Development Center, and Mr. Qin Wu, Manager of Module Research and Development, were present at the certification ceremony.

Zhang Zhichao said that as a large domestic building materials and home furnishing industry group with 37 years of development history, China Union Plastics has rich project experience in the field of pan-family as well as building materials.

Li Weichun expressed his heartfelt congratulations to LESSO for obtaining the two certificates of IEC 61215:2021 and IEC 61730:2023, and said that LESSO's module products have high efficiency and stable performance, and that the testing process was very smooth.

It is understood that the IEC 61215 standard sets refined testing standards for different component characteristics, with a wide range of assessments including temperature response, low-light environment adaptability, hot spot durability, UV pretreatment effect, thermal cycling stability, hygrostatic resistance, humidity and heat resistance, mechanical load bearing capacity, and hail impact and other key tests.

The IEC 61730 standard is designed to test PV modules within the scope of visual inspection, electric shock, fire, mechanical stress and environmental stress, and thus to detect whether the protection of the module against electric shock, fire and personal injury caused by mechanical or external environmental influences is up to standard.

The IEC 61730:2023 certification is the latest in the series. Compared with the previous version, the requirements for the R&D and production technology level of the components are higher, and the judgment on the reliability and safety of the component products is more stringent.

Obtaining the IEC 61730:2023 certification means that the product safety standards of LESSO have been recognized by international authority. The excellent quality is attributed to the fact that LESSO always adheres to the concept of innovation and quality first, and builds up a risk prevention line from production to testing, and establishes a perfect quality control system to ensure that each module meets the strict quality standards.
